* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The Flow of Feng Shui First I'd like to mention
that May's newsletter is posted to the web site, although it wasn't sent individually. It's about gardening, the influence of jewelry on us, and more. May was a fun month, and was one example of flow. Many
people seek more health, love, money, luck with work, and so on. This is known as in-flow. However this needs to be balanced, if not exceeded, by out-flow out when it comes to generous acts of kindness (although when it
comes to credit and income, in-flow should exceed out-flow). Sharing abundance attracts it. What we put into the world comes back to us. This is not a clique, its karma. I'd planned a May open house for
months. Clients, family, and friends were invited to observe our implementation of Feng Shui. Good energy days were utilized every step of the way--this meant things would go well and people would enjoy themselves. The night before the open house, we were hit with tornado-producing storms and torrential rains. Streets and yards were flooded (including ours), trees were tore out... you get the picture. We were surprised
that by the open house, our place was back to normal. Not all of the neighbors could say the same. The open house took place and we had a delightful time. There were handouts that showed how everything came
together: goal setting, event planning, landscaping, interior decorating, office Feng Shui, the menu, relationships, and more. Then for flow-in, I went to Los Angeles for a consult. This turned into an
invitation to speak in Beverly Hills and meet celebrities. Some days I wonder how my life can be so blessed. That you're reading this newsletter is demonstration of that. Thank you! forecast done by the practitioner?" Alain from Mauritius (Indian Ocean) An analogy that comes to mind, Alain, is seeking advice on a health issue. If one complains of a headache and a doctor prescribes
medication, there isn't a guarantee that the headache will subside. If the headaches continue the doctor will dig deeper...more tests and possibly a referral to a specialist. The headache could stem from watching too
much TV, needing glasses, to a brain tumor. I am not a medical professional, so this is my perception of their process. When we have a concern that we can't remedy, we seek the advice of someone who knows
more than we do. When it comes to life and destiny, there are so many variables that even we don't know about ourselves. What does The Divine One have intended for us? What did our soul chose to learn while in a
physical state? When I think of life/destiny readings I think of psychics and readers more than Feng Shui practitioners so I can only guess a person there does all of the above? That is happening more in
the U.S. too. One business card I saw had Reiki, massage, aromatherapy, clairvoyant readings, nails (I assume this meant manicures), Tupperware, and Feng Shui. I admire their work ethic, and wonder about their level of
expertise. There are also variables in the environment we grew up in (family, friends, community, religion, discipline, school, etc.). The best a Feng Shui practitioner can offer is to make recommendations
based on their diagnosis of your living environment, information that you've shared, and from your birth date. I'll be the first to say sometimes birth information describes the person before me, and once in a great
while it is off a bit. Their upbringing and choices influence this. A "guarantee" would require that everything stay the same. Life changes every second. I may ask someone to put moving metal in a
certain place to remedy potential hazardous health, but it's up to them to do it and to the dimensions I suggest. Also, what I suggest someone may choose against. In one case I recommended a lighting rod that they
didn't install, and lighting hit and blew out a fourth of their house. There is certainly an amount of faith involved, and how can we guarantee faith? It comes and goes for many. If we believe that we'll
work through upset and learn from it…we do. If we believe there are good people in the world…we find evidence. If we believe everyone is out to get us…we find evidence. Does that make sense? If human nature and daily
life doesn't change, then guarantees may be feasible. Meantime, choose people who can provide validation of study and experience, and references. Most of my business is from word of mouth (a friend tells a friend). While even I can't guarantee results, I provide documentation, clarification, education, and on-going support. If I may be of assistance (either by coming to you or by telephone), I'd be happy to assist you.

trash cans (per your recommendation) I got a call with a job. I cleaned and organized the garage and within a couple days two other opportunities materialized that have led to job interviews for this week. I don't
believe that the timing is coincidental." The Literary Lady If you have a women or men's group, dinner event, or want to host a Feng Shui brown-bag lunch…contact us. People find the topic fun and

Tip of the Month While designing a handout for the open house, I mentioned the corner of the neighbor's house…it points at our house. This is known as angle sha and has a negative affect (cutting
energy). Good chi isn't forced (straight lines) and makes us feel comfortable (like a hug). If there's a point coming at your house and the neighbor hasn't planted a tall bush or tree at the corner to deflect it, then
you need to--directly between their angle and your building to block this focused (direct hit) of energy.
