Basically the question is, "is the star compatible with the direction it is now in?" To determine the answer, use the element
chart below. Fire produces earth; earth produces metal; metal produces water; water produces wood; and wood produces fire. In the example above (4 flies into the NW), four is wood and NW is metal. Metal dominates wood,
so the result is conflict in the NW. |

Digest this a bit and we'll go into more detail next month.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Question of the Month: "Is Feng Shui a religion or religious practice?" from
Leesa Scott. Somehow Feng Shui has been connected with Daoism, Buddhism, and other religions. The philosophy of Daoism and the science of Feng Shui developed about the same time and share common roots, but are not the
same. While we're not able to exactly pinpoint Feng Shui's origins, it predates Daoism, Buddhism, and Confucianism by several thousand years. Two (of the many) sciences used in Feng Shui are astronomy and astrology.
These were used as early as 6000 BC to determine auspicious grave and dwelling sites. Also keep in mind that there's a difference between the science of Feng Shui and cultural practices that have been handed down
through time as part of tradition and folk lore via tales. A good example of this is the use of statues and trinkets. Traditional Feng Shui only applies five elements (fire, earth, metal, water, or wood) as tools.
Thank you for the question, Leesa. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Tip of the Month: On 12/7/05 we
move into a seven (metal) month. In a four (wood) year, this can imply deception for relationships. Also ensure to take precautions against injury by metal. On the other hand it is a good time for travel; however,
increase your success by researching a good personal energy day (see date analysis). * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Resource Recommendations and Upcoming Events With recent press
